Sugammadex, sold under the brand name Bridion, is a medication for the reversal of neuromuscular blockade induced by rocuronium and vecuronium in general anaesthesia. It is the first selective relaxant binding agent (SRBA). Sugammadex is indicated for the reversal of neuromuscular blockade induced by rocuronium or vecuronium.

Sugammadex specifically belongs to a new class of medication named the selective relaxant binding agents. Sugammadex is prescribed for the reversal of neuromuscular blockade following administration of the aminosteroid non-depolarizing neuromuscular-blocking agents such as vecuronium or rocuronium.
